It works system-wide — dictate into any app with a single keyboard shortcut. AI Modes adapt formatting to context: polished emails in Mail, casual messages in Slack, clean notes in your documents. Cloud models (Pro) deliver best-in-class accuracy, while free on-device models let you transcribe unlimited with no internet required.
How We Handle Your Data
On-device transcription processes audio locally — nothing leaves your Mac. When you choose cloud models, audio is sent securely to third-party AI services for processing and is never stored or used for training. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
